All parks and trails in Newcastle parks remain open.  The only closures in Newcastle include playgrounds, sport courts (basketball, tennis, and volleyball), picnic shelters, and restrooms.  Residents are free to use the City’s parks and trails that are with walking distance.  Driving to a park or trail is discouraged.  The message regional leaders are sharing is “If you take a car, the park or trail is too far."
